COVID-19 vaccination update

If you are eligible for your Covid booster vaccination you can book online, phone 119 or go to a local walk-in vaccination site to have this done.

The clinics for the booster vaccines at the Surgery are now fully booked until the end of the year.  If you haven’t already been invited by us to book an appointment you will need to go elsewhere.

Please note we are not a vaccination hub so supplies to the Surgery are limited.

We have mainly been holding our vaccination clinics on a Saturday to enable us to carry out our day-to-day work during the week.   This has relied on the staff giving up their Saturday mornings to run these clinics.

Flu vaccines

You may have received a text message from the NHS to book a flu vaccine if you are aged over 50 or in an at risk group.  You can book this at any participating pharmacy or by phoning the surgery where we have some appointments available (please call in the afternoons which are much quieter on the phones)

Demand

We are still experiencing a high volume of demand for our services and it is very disappointing to see an increased amount of patients not turning up for pre-booked appointments which could have been offered to someone else.  You can cancel by text, through our website or by calling us.
